This was The UnifiedField‘s opening event in Yogyakarta and marked the beginning of what has been and will continue to be the paving of another roads lesser traveled.

We were fortunate enough on this occasion to have C-drik Fermont giving a presentation on the history of experimental music from Africa, the Middle-East and Asia. Following the talk, C-drik went on to perform as Crno Klank.

As for the video part of the exhibition, we screened English video performance artist Bean‘s wonderful piece titled “Sometimes I Feel Like A Pitbull Terrier”, this was made during a tumultuous week spent at Nomadic Village festival in the Bulgarian wilderness in the summer of 2009.
