Preet Kaur is deeply interested in the art of storytelling. She explores various manifestations of stories through fiction-writing and photo-based experimental films. One of these is We Live, an abstract video inspired by Singapore. We Live captures in footage and recreates in form the psychological and spacial intensity of the tiny island-state. The video will be accompanied by Singapore-specific soundmarks and a live set performed by musician Shaun Sankaran as well as Preet Kaur.
Preet Kaur received her B.A. in Literature from the National University of Singapore. She has been published in Glossolalia, Jack Magazine and Eclectic Flash. Her work has also been anthologized in Crave It (Red Claw Press, Toronto). In a 2009 European tour, she performed under the pseudonym Kismett.

Shaun Sankaran has presented his brand of experimental sounds across the globe under his various incarnations as Mindfuckingboy, Sankara and as the bassist/guitarist of the electro-punk project Elekore.
